PetScan: An RFID Tag Reader Interface for Your Android Device

PetScan is a free Android application developed by ATRIA TRADING that interfaces your phone or tablet with supported RFID tag readers via Bluetooth. This app requires you to own one of the following supported hardware: V8M BT2 and/or BT4, RT100-M, or RT-250.

With PetScan, you can initiate scans from your phone or receive scans directly from the reader. The app also allows you to record the reader's memory export in the database and keep a history of all scans. Furthermore, you can modify the RFID chip's internal memory by writing a contact name and phone number with the reader. You can also assign an owner's name and address along with a picture of the pet to each scanned chip.

PetScan also has a feature to export scan history and internal database as spreadsheet files. Additionally, you can visualize where a scan has been made on a map. If you're a pet owner or a veterinarian, PetScan has everything that you need to keep track of your pets' RFID chips.
